# Toabré-Antón and Antón Eolic Projects
Panama City, February 19, 2020. On February 15, 2020, citizens Nidia Alveo and Onel Martínez, representing the communities of Northern Coclé and Penonomé Centro, personally presented at an outreach activity that was carried out in the city of Penonomé, an Environmental Submission to the Secretariat for the Enforcement of Environmental Matter of the TPA USA-Panama.
In the Communication, identified with No. SALA-CA-PMA/001/2020 called “Toabré-Antón and Antón Eolic Projects”, the senders indicate, among other things, that they sent a request for information to the Ministry of the Environment of the Republic of Panama with regarding the aforementioned eolic projects, and that after the deadline for delivery of said information has elapsed, it has not been received.
The ROOM is currently analyzing the Environmental Communication presented, to determine compliance with the requirements established in article 17.8.2 of Chapter 17 of the US-Panama TPA and in this way, to comply with the admissibility requirements, to be able to continue with the corresponding procedure.

TWO PANAMENIAN CITIZENS SUBMITTED AN ENVIRONMENTAL SUBMISSION TO THE SECRETARIAT FOR THE ENFORCEMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL MATTERS OF THE TRADE PROMOTION AGREEMENT BETWEEN PANAMA AND THE UNITED STATES, FOR THE ALLEGED NON-COMPLIANCE OF ENVIRONMENTAL LEGISLATION IN THE REPUBLIC OF PANAMA, REGARDING REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ABOUT THE TOABRE ANTÓN WIND PROJECTS AND THE ANTÓN EOLIC PROJECT.
